Comparing excess deaths in Europe with the US leads to yet more "BS flags" thrown on the field with a finale against masking children
In “Excess Seasonality 101” I made a comment about the toll of the recent historical seasonal winter flu waves in Europe being higher than the US. If that’s true and the excess deaths shown on Euromomo for C19 are not wildly different than the US1, then we should see the “how much worse is it?” ratio for C19 over the flu be lower in Europe.
Sure enough it is SUBSTANTIALLY lower.
Where numbers are thrown around for the US of the C19 death toll being 5-6x or more worse than a bad flu year (still not a justification for what has happened and the C19 numbers are heavily exaggerated of course), it turns out that for 2020 Euromomo shows C19 as being only 2.6 times worse in excess death count than 2018’s most recent “bad flu year”2.
Oops. Surely you remember all the lockdowns and economic catastrophe of 2018 in Europe?
But an extra 240K deaths in Europe over what went unnoticed in 2018 justifies the destruction of nearly everything and seemingly a special focus on crushing our kids with (among other bad things) language learning impediments like masks?
Or shall us few remaining sane ones throw yet another flag on the field?
Speaking of kids in Europe, what do we see there?
That’s right, we see net NEGATIVE excess deaths for both 2020 and 2021 to date in the 0-14 age group!
But what about Sweden where everyone died in 2020? Surely they have no kids left since they didn’t mask at least their pre-high schoolers and kept them in-person? The 0-14 age group is an excellent view of that:
Oops again! There is no impact from the initial C19 2020 March-May wave to kids noticeable in EITHER Sweden (top) or the UK (bottom) and if anything it was safer to be a kid in Sweden compared to the UK even before March based on average death rate in this cohort!
And yes, these are matched range rate charts and so are valid visual comparisons.
On top of masks being inefficacious as I pointed out in “Why Masking Pigpen Fails” and nothing more than a tribal symbol, here we have evidence that a lack of masks shows no negative mortality effect for kids.
Frankly, leftists are nothing more than cargo cultists in their understanding of either risk proportionality or the actual scientific process but they seem to have a special added proclivity toward the abuse of children.
It needs to stop.
Many of us few remaining sane citizens are at a loss to comprehend the mental destruction and group lemming think endlessly washing over everything around us that has been triggered by our newly instituted iatrocracy’s relentless lies and fearmongering. I can’t recommend this video on “Menticide” strongly enough to help you understand and see some ways out:
Menticide (click here to go to the video):
Euromomo has significantly changed its included countries and population during the course of the last few years. Where for my “The Euromomo 3% PIC Calamity” it included about 290M people, for this chart it includes around 420M people making its base about 30% larger than the US. So the indicated 390K in EU 2020 excess deaths compared to the 380K for the US actually represents a meaningfully lower excess death rate per capita.
BTW, it’s also interesting that as of the current week 34 of 2012 the excess deaths are tracking surprisingly close to 2020 levels in both the US and EU in spite of the gene therapies — hmm…
I’m going to hold aside for this post the lack of proper “PIC” week 40-39 seasonality accounting as I clarified in “Excess Seasonality 101”, “The Euromomo 3% PIC Calamity“ and “One FLUVIEW Over The COVID Nest“
